    Set in the Missouri Ozark Hills just 90 minutes from St. Louis, YMCA Trout Lodge offers a restorative setting designed to foster connection, reflection, and renewal. Surrounded by nature and overlooking the scenic 360-acre Sunnen Lake, it’s the perfect environment to step away from the noise of everyday life, breathe deeply, and tune into what matters most with clarity, calm, and intention.

    Retreat participants will stay in lodge-style guest rooms located in the heart of the property. Each room includes two queen beds, a private bathroom, a desk, and a balcony or patio with beautiful lake views. These cozy accommodations offer the simplicity of a rustic getaway with the comforts of hotel-style amenities. Midwestern comfort food, served buffet style in the public dining hall, is included with your stay.

A Weekend of Connection, Renewal & Progress

Here’s a glimpse of our weekend together. Each day is carefully structured with a variety of immersive, facilitated sessions designed to spark growth, clarity, and meaningful progress. It’s a thoughtfully paced, workshop-style experience filled with opportunities to reflect, connect, move, and stretch yourself in powerful new ways.

Scheduled breaks and shared meals provide time to recharge and connect with others, while your comprehensive, custom-designed Resilience for Progress workbook will help you track insights, journal thoughts, and shape actions to carry you forward.

Friday, October 24th: Arrival & Welcome (6:30–9:00 PM)

  • Check-in & Welcome: Arrive, settle in, and meet your retreat host and fellow participants.

  • Intention-Setting & Social Connection: Ground yourself in what you hope to gain from the weekend, reflect on your personal goals, and enjoy informal time to unwind and connect with others.

  • Optional Fireside Gathering: Close the evening by the fire to deepen connection and ease into the weekend.

Saturday, October 25th: Foundations of Resilience (8:30 AM–8:00 PM)

  • Orientation: Get grounded in the Resilience for Progress framework, set intentions, and meet your Progress Partner.

  • Physical Progress: Join an energizing workout designed to build confidence and highlight adaptable fitness practices.

  • Envisioning the Future: Picture your best future self and shape a guiding mantra to anchor your journey.

  • Personal Progress: Map and reflect on your key relationships, explore areas for growth, and practice giving and receiving feedback to strengthen connection.

  • Optional Adventure Course & Dinner: Around 4:30 PM, take on the Alpine Tower climbing course and close the day with shared dinner and conversation in the dining hall.

Sunday, October 26th: Alignment & Next Steps (7:30 AM–5:00 PM)

  • Morning Reset: Begin with gratitude journaling and set intentions for the closing day.

  • Physical Progress: Participate in a strength-focused movement session to reinforce physical resilience.

  • Professional Progress: Explore how your skills and passions align with meaningful purpose and design practical next steps toward fully loving your work.

  • Prosperity Progress: Gain clarity on your financial habits and learn strategies to align them with your goals and values.

  • Conclusion and Feedback: Create your commitments for progress and close the retreat with a feedback discussion that helps me improve the overall offering for next time.

This schedule is thoughtfully planned and may be adjusted slightly to best serve the group experience. Unless noted as optional, participants are asked to be fully present for all programming components.

Your registration includes lodging, all meals, fitness sessions, guided workshops, and a custom Resilience for Progress workbook filled with questionnaires, journaling space, and take-home reference materials to support your growth long after the retreat ends.

This is specially discounted, first-time pricing offered at my cost in exchange for your participation, thoughtful feedback, and optional testimonials to help shape the future of Resilience for Progress.

  • Double Occupancy: $399 per person
    Share a comfortable lodge-style room with two queen beds and a private bathroom. Perfect for friends or those open to being paired with a like-minded participant.

  • Single Occupancy: $499 per person
    Enjoy the privacy of your own room while still being steps away from the retreat community. Ideal for deeper reflection and rest.
